Large format tiles save you a lot of time during installation as you’ll use less tiles and therefore less time is spent cutting and laying. Doblo Rock Porcelain tiles come in 598 x 598 and 298 x 598 size variants, all of which have a PEI rating of 5 making them perfect for use in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, commercial environments, even outside. Using a pale colour variant will visually expand any space, making it look larger than it is. Q : Can you confirm if these tiles require sealing? If so what is recommended.

Q : Hi there. We have received a sample and the tile looks great. We wanted it for a patio garden where we will have a table and chairs / bbq etc. Will the tiles withstand that sort of weight ok? The tile is 10mm thick, is that thick enough? Thanks
Our Doblo Rock tiles are perfectly suitable for external use. They are a very dense and durable porcelain tile, and we would not expect there to be any problems in using garden furniture on the tiles.
Q : We love this tile for our terrace area. We have been recommended to source a tile that is frost resistant and has water absorption rating of less than 0.5%. Can you please advise if this tile meets these criteria?
The Doblo Rock Cream Porcelain (SKU 437260) is a porcelain tile rendering it water & frost resistant, along with a riven texture and an anti-slip rating of R11 making it ideal for external use. This tile also carries a PEI 5 rating rendering it suitable for heavy traffic and maximum performance indoors and out.
Q : How do you advise these tiles are layed outdoors? Which Base type should we use (mortar, concrete or other?) And do we need to use an adhesive or primer? Thank you
To install the Doblo rock cream porcelain tiles outdoor, we would recommend tiling onto a solid concrete base, we would recommend using a tile adhesive called Keraquick white to install the tiles and we do recommend that the concrete based is primed before installing tiles onto it.
