We’ve been looking at various suggestions and ideas for celebrating Burns Night, which of course falls on 25 January; and have been inspired to look at some very traditional Scottish-themed interior ideas, all of which look great when teamed with rugged, natural-looking floor tiles.

On the off chance that you do fancy a Burns Night re-vamp, we couldn’t resist a peek at this tartan-inspired wallpaper, from Mind The Gap, who can supply outrageous wallpaper designs throughout pretty much the whole world. We rather liked this one, teamed here with a great selection of stag-inspired decorative objects. Pair with some tough, natural stone effect tiles, such as our Bayona Grey porcelain large format tiles, which would look at home in a Scottish castle too…
Grand Style
Caledonian-inspired interiors makes us think about comfy, tartan or leather-clad armchairs, alongside cosy fires and wood panelling. Traditional Choices
Pressing on with our recommendations for floor tiles that will enhance a very traditional scheme; take a look at three of the best from Tile Mountain.
