Can this be used with laminate flooring?
Our advice: We would only advise using water-based underfloor heating with our Laminate.

Can you confirm that this is 10m X 1m.
Our advice: We can confirm that The Ezemat 200w 10M2 underfloor heating mat measures 10m x 1m which equals to 10M2.

Looking to put this down under kitchen floor. Floor is concrete, with a polystyrene layer, with further concrete over the top. Would you think the insulation board is necessary? Any other tips?
Our advice: Insulation boards would be used on top of a concrete base to help stop the heat disappearing through the floor as opposed to through the tiles. If the poly layer that you currently have installed acts as insulation these may not be required. We would suggest seeking the advice of your builder or tiler.

Is this underfloor heating system suitable for a floor which is part floor boards covered in ply and part new concrete base. I plan to also use the permalayer anti fracture layer you recommend with quartz tiles already purchased from tile mountain.
Our advice: With a Quartz tile, we would recommend only using a 160-watt underfloor heating kit and this would have to be installed on one substrate only, we would recommend using a self-levelling compound (SKU: 0124325) over the two different floor areas to create a consistent area. We would also recommend installing the tiles using Keraquick (SKU: 012520) mixed with latex (SKU: 215106UK).
