Q : Are these vitrified porcelain ?
As these tiles are glazed, they will be classed as vitrified.
Q : What colour grout would best suit these tiles please?
We would recommend the cement grey grout for this tile SKU: 6011305A
Q : Can these be cut to order before delivery?.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a bespoke cutting service we are sorry.
Q : I have a compacted type1 sub base and plan to use a wet mortar bed - what primer/adhesive would I need to use on the underside of the slab?
We would not recommend tiling on the top of the mortar bed, because the tiles would not last as the mortar bed is too high in moisture. We would suggest installing tiles on the top of the concrete instead.
Q : i want to put a sub base down 60mm depth well compacted as i need to level of my area concerned. can i then then use a mortar as base on top of the sub base to lay the tiles or will the mortar stain the tiles i don't want use sand base
We would recommend laying the tiles onto the mortar base once it has cured and adhering the tiles using Adesilex P4 SKU: 218220
