Maverick brings the pared-back industrial aesthetics of brushed concrete (but without the maintenance required of the real thing) to a popular large format outdoor tile that is ideal for exterior areas such as driveways, verandas and patios. Q : do you have to use adhesive ?can they be laid with just a sand and cement mix
We recommend using an adhesive, yes.
Q : Can this not be laid indoors? On a bred floor system?
If your substrate allows for a tile of this thickness to be laid then there would be no problem, however, due to the thickness of the tile, it is not typically recommended for indoor use.
Q : Hi I really like the Maverick Grey SKU 446480 but do you do a bigger size than 600x600 mm Thanks James L
Unfortunately, we do not stock this tile in any other sizes
Q : Hi I have got approximately 40 square metres of existing slabs and want build the level up in line with my kitchen porcelain tiles. Would you recommend I build up with type one stone? and then sand cement for tiles
If the distance you need to make up is minimal, then we reccomend using our Adesilex P4 Grey Floor Adhesive as a levelling compound. Allow this to dry then tile as normal using adhesive . If the distance to be made up is larger the we recommend installing a concrete base, then tiling on top of this as normal when it is dry using tile adhesive.
Q : Can we put them on cement sand?
Hi. No, our advice is to install these on the base of a fully cured concrete base.
