Q : Hi there, I have these tiles - very nice! Do the tiles come with a transit wax or factory-applied coating? That can be removed with alkaline cleaner / micro-abrasive cleaner - to avoid any patchiness over time. Hope you can shed any light on this! Thanks
No, these tiles don't come with a transit wax on. However, once grouted, you would need to use a cleaner to remove any grout residue (Fila Detedek Residue Remover SKU:430650)
Q : Do lounge Matt black tiles need sealing
The Lounge Black Matt Porcelain (SKU 431270) do not require sealing.
Q : can i use the porcelain tiles outside my front door
The Lounge Black Matt tiles are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use as they are frost proof. We would always recommend having a sample before ordering to ensure you are happy with the product for your project before ordering.
Q : Does the lounge Matt black porcelain tile have a black edge, as the project I have in mind means that one of the edges will be seen.
The Lounge Matt Black tiles are a thorough bodied porcelain tile and therefore the edge will be black but not have the finish as it appears on the surface. I would recommend using an edging trim for the end that will be seen and these are available from most local DIY stores.
