Q : What thickness of adhesive would you recommend when installing the 300x600mm or 600x600mm format tiles on a concrete floor?
We would recommend a minimum of 5mm adhesive owhen installing these
Q : Are these suitable for a garage floor?
As the tiles are made from Porcelain, this makes them very durable and suitable for a garage floor.
Q : Is the tile surface smooth and perfectly flat?
The Burren Black tiles are a Matt finish tile and have a sandpaper effect finish and are rated R9 anti-slip. Please order a free sample to asses if they will be suitable for your project.
Q : Suitable to go on top underfloor heating?
These tiles are suitable to use with underfloor heating systems.
Q : Hi, when using these outdoors, what would you suggest to bed them on, and how should i prep the ground first?
We recommend bedding the tiles on a concrete base, if the base is under 5 years old you would need to prime the area, we recommend Primer G 1kg (SKU 020101). We would also suggest using an adhesive suitable for external use such as our Adesilex P4 Grey Floor Adhesive 20kg (SKU 218220).
