Q : Can these tiles be drilled into as wanting to mount my shower onto these tiles. Thanks
In regards to the Brix Anthracite Wall tile (436435), you would be able to drill through the tiles, the only consideration to make would be that it is a ridged tile, so we would advise to drill through one ridge at a time to prevent any fractures to the tiles.
Q : Hi, I would like to know the weight per sq meter of this tile please? Thanks Steve
Thank you for the question, the weight per m2 would be 14.70KG for the tiles
Q : Re. Brix Anthracite tiles. Would love these on my kitchen walls, but wondered if they are difficult to keep clean, due to the uneven texture?
Thank you for the question, the Brix tiles are commonly used in a kitchen and because they are a glazed tile can be easily maintained.
Q : Hi, I have never tiled before. Can these be cut with a manual tile cutter or would they need an electric wet saw? I've read manual tile cutters may not be able to cope with uneven surfaces of tile such as these. Thanks
Hello Keith, thank you for your question. As you mention due to the uneven surface of the tile we would recommend using an electric wet saw to cut these tiles to achieve the correct result. If you have any more questions about this tile or any others please do not hesitate to contact us.
Q : Hi using these tiles on a feature wall are they designed to be butted up together as I've read else where they can be
Hello Paul, Thank's for showing interest in the Brix Stratum Anthracite Wall tiles. Because it is a ceramic tile it would require to be grouted. The smallest joint we would recommend would be 2mm.
