Can the mat just be laid on top of your insulation board or does it need to be stuck down?
Our advice: The underfloor heating mat can be rolled on top of the insulation boards ready to be tiled on top of. However, our recommendation would be to apply a levelling compound on top of the underfloor heating before tiling. This will help to eliminate hot spots and also add an extra layer of protection for the heating mat.
