The Lounge Black Matt Porcelain (SKU: 431285) is suitable to use as a wall tile in a shower area. The only consideration would be that the substrate is strong enough to take the weight, we recommend discussing this with your tiler.
Q : Are these tiles suitable for outdoor use?
The Lounge Black Matt tiles (SKU: 431285) are suitable for external use as they are a porcelain tile rendering them water resistant and frost proof. This tile also has a matt finish an anti-slip rating of R9 giving it an element of grip factor. We recommend ordering a sample to ensure its suitability for your project.
Q : What cleaner can I use on these tiles?
For cleaning the Lounge tiles, we would recommend using Fila tile and stone cleaner (SKU: 430655), this product would be suitable for everyday maintenance.
Q : Are these tiles frost Proof please? We are using it for an external balcony . The surface is a concrete screed so what adhesive would you recommend? Does it need a sealant prior to the adhesive? many thanks
The Lounge Black Matt tiles are frost proof as they are made from porcelain, which would make them suitable for use in an external area. We would recommend priming the concrete prior to installation using the Primer G (SKU: 020105). The tiles do not require sealing as they have a matt finish and are not porous. We would recommend using the Keraflex Grey Slow Setting Adhesive (SKU: 437345) for the area and project you have described.
Q : Do these tiles need sealing and if so can you recommend a product?
