Offering an incredibly simple and efficient method of fixing concrete, natural stone and porcelain outdoor slabs to both hardcore and solid screed bases, Rock-Tite Mortar Additive contains specially formulated Rock-Tite additives to improve performance, workability and freeze/thaw resistance of the finished mortar mix. Simply add sand and water, mix until a smooth, lump-free mortar with a creamy consistency is achieved, and apply, Please note that the back of all porcelain slabs must be primed using Norcros Rock-Tite Porcelain Primer ahead of fixing.

Is this classed as slurry? And how many would we need for 24metres
Our advice: No, this is specifically designed for use with Porcelain slabs. 1 x 12.5kg bag of Mortar Additive (6:1 mix) will cover approximately 2m2 at 25mm thickness so you would require x12 bags.

The ratio 6:1 is that one bag to 6 shovel off sand.. and how many slabs could you lay with this ratio (per bag)
Our advice: The ratio would be 75kg sharp sand per 12.5kg bag. The coverage provided depends on how thick you plan to set the mortar.

How many bags to cover 16 square metres at 25 mm thick
Our advice: You would require x27 bags.

Hi can you just confirm is the 6:1 ratio 6 = Rock-tite mortar additive 1 = sharp sand? thanks
Our advice: The Mix ratio for this product is 6 parts Sharp Sand to 1 part Mortar Additive (75KG of Sharp Sand to every 12.5KG Rock-Tite Additive).

can I use this instead of the Norcross Mortar? If mixed in with sharp sand to fix my patio porcelain tiles
