Quartz Stone Grey is a premium quality tile for use on the floor and is excellent choice for any modern interior design or colour scheme. Incredibly popular with those looking to recreate the glitzy chic often found in high-end hotels and bars, these tiles are increasingly used in expansive kitchens, bathrooms and lounges that employ a minimalist aesthetic, or to create a seamless, continuous flow effect from wall to floor.
Our Quartz tiles are suitable for use with Ezewarm underfloor heating mats. Please Note: Mapei Granirapid is required to install Quartz tiles and can be used with both solid substrates and plywood (minimum of 15mm) . If installing with underfloor heating Mapei Keraquick adhesive mixed with Mapei Latex Plus is required when installing on solid and timber substrates. In either situation, an anti-fracture membrane will be required. We recommend Norcros Permalayer. These tiles also require post-installation sealing - we recommend Fila MP90.

Q : Are these tiles prone to sun bleaching? I want to put them into a new extension that has a ;large number of glass bi-fold doors.
We are confident that the Quartz Stone Grey tile will be suitable in this scenario.
Q : can these tiles be layed over tiles that are already layed on floor
With the nature of the Quartz Tiles and the need to use a specific type of adhesive with latex, i would strongly advise against tiling on top of existing tiles.
Q : Can these be used outside as patio paving?
As the Quartz tiles are sensitive to the elements I would not recommend using the Quartz tiles outside.
Q : Could you please advise the easiest way in which to cut the quartz tiles. Thank you
You would need to use a diamond wet wheel cutter. We would advise using a new blade to get a cleaner cut.
Q : What colour grout would you suggest to compliment these tiles?
Thank you for your question. We would recommend for the Quartz Stone Grey, Kerapoxy Design Pearl Grey SKU:5K72003. The glitter SKU:4595251 will provide a sparkle effect grout to add to the glitz of the Quartz, We would also recommend using Keraproxy Cleaner SKU:4571551, to help with the professional finish.
