Great Value Tiles. Easy to put down.

Nice looking tiles that lay easily and look very neat thanks to the fact they are rectified. I put these down with a 3mm anthracite grout, although they most certainly would have been fine at 2mm. The tiles tended to have a slight twist and wave, but I guess you expect that with an economy tile. Certainly the floor adhesive took care of that happily and there were no problems at all laying the tiles. They went down very quickly and easily. Delighted with the result. The only thing I would say is that the anthracite grout by Mapei is lighter than other manufacturers and so grout film remover was essential to realise the proper colour of the tiles after grouting. They appeared fairly grey until the remover was used and then they assumed their true black colour. All in all, highly recommended. Just don't forget the grout film remover!
