Q : The description says that these tiles are made from white clay, however, one of the reviews said that the 'orange' from the edge of the tile showed through the grout and made it necessary to apply more grout. Hello Wendy, thank you for showing interest in the Super Relief Bumpy White Wall Tile. The tile is made from white clay but would have a slight peach tint to the shading which may be described as orange. You are welcome to order a free cut sample to check the tile’s suitability.
Q : Review by Anna B says these tiles are not glazed on their edges. Are they suitable for use on the wall of a shower?
Thank you for your question. We can confirm that the Super relief bumpy white are suitable for the wall of a shower. However, they would require the walls to be waterproofed before application of the tiles. We do stock the Mapei shower waterproofing kit. As the edges are non-glazed, this would be protected when used with the waterproof grout. We also supply this grout - Mapei Ultracolour.
