Designed for use on ceramic, porcelain, unpolished natural stones (acid resistant stones), Fila Deterdek is an acid-based cleaner that will remove lime deposits from floors, walls, and bathroom fixtures. The cleaner cannot be used on quartz, polished natural stones, metallic tiles or slate. We strongly advise that a patch test is done before using the cleaner. Q : Hello. We purchased some ivory tiles and have had them fitted with grey grout. It has left some grout mist. I've checked and the the tiles are polished porcelain but have been sealed so they are not porous. I think whats happened is the grout has gone on the transit wax that the company put on the tiles so they don't get damaged in transit. Please can you recommend best product to remove the wax and thus the grout mist please. Many thanks.
The Fila Deterdek Residue Remover can be used to remove the grout mist, however, we would recommend using our Fila PS87 Stain Remover (SKU 430660) for the transit wax. Use the Deterdek first and then the stain remover after.
Q : I have outdoor porcelain slabs. They have black scuff marks from garden furniture. Will this product remove the black marks?
The answer to this would depend on the type of material the furniture is made from and also how long the marks have been in the tile, I would say Deterdek Residue Remover SKU 430650 will remove most marks and definitely worth a try following the instructions on the packaging.

Fila Deterdek would be suitable for a majority of floor areas however we would recommend not getting the cleaner on any metallic surfaces such as the fridge as this can cause damage.
Q : Can this be used on glass
The Fila Deterdek residue remover would be compatible for use on glass.
Q : Hi our bathroom fitter didn't wash the walls down after grouting and we are having problems removing the residue from the bathroom walls - is this suitable for use in a bathroom to clean the tiles face, or will it remove the grout from the joints as well - and what about cleaning around plastic fittings e.g. plastic shower unit, and bath surface/silicon seals????
Deterdek will remove grout residues from the tiles, we would recommend using this product diluted 1:5 ratio with water, this may need to be repeated. We would not recommend using this product on natural stone or quartz tiles.
