Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 is a high performance, deformable cementitious adhesive with extended open time and no vertical slip, created especially for use with ceramic tiles. Especially suitable for the installation of large-size porcelain tiles and natural stone, Keraflex Maxi is incredibly easy to mix and use and has a pot life of approximately 8 hours. Suitable for interior and exterior bonding (up to 15mm bed depth) of ceramic tiles on uneven substrates and renders, without having to level before application.

Q : is this suitable for 600 x 600 tiles?
This adhesive can be used for 600x600mm tiles
Q : having to use hardie-backer boards screwed to floor for porcelain tiles due to issues with floor old 70 vinyl tiles aint coming up do i need to use adhesive and screws for board? Also what is best adhesive for tiles on the backer board many thanks.
Just screws will secure the board down. Also, I would recommend Keraquick Flexible Adhesive for this project (SKU; 012520)

Each 20kg bag will cover approx 6sqm on a wall.
Q : is this adhesive suitable for use on chipboard flooring.?
Yes, this adhesive would be suitable for use on chipoard flooring, as long as this is completely solid.
Q : can you recommend a wall tile adhesive to stick over pre existing wall tiles
We would recommend applying our primer Eco prim grip, before tiling over any tiles. We would then recommend using our keraquick adhesive to apply the new tiles. Many Thanks
