Description

Evocative of the natural metamorphic rock escarpments and ridges of the Yosemite National Park in Sierra Nevada, Yosemite brings natural vibes to any roomscape in which it is installed.

Key Features

  • Natural stone aesthetic

  • Durable porcelain construction

  • Large format means fewer tiles used and fewer grout joints

  • Split-face mosaic style companion tile available for both colourways

Yosemite authentically replicates natural stone but dispenses with the required maintenance and hefty price tag associated with genuine stone products, making it easy to instill a nature inspired aesthetic in your interiors. The smooth matt finish of the wall and floor variants make it perfect for bathrooms and multi-use areas and, thanks to the availability of colour-matched split-face mosaic style companion tiles, engendering an earthy wilderness inspired design scheme has never been easier as each tile varies in shade and appearance to create an authentic natural style.

Nice large format tile

As the Yosemite brick effect wall tile, be very careful cutting as its party trick is to chip right at the last second if mitreing your cuts, looks very nice and give a hotel room effect

Poor quality fit for grout lines and customer service equals it!

Very disappointed with these tiles. Chose this tile after making 100 mile round trip to one of the showrooms. This was probably the only tile that wasn’t laid down with several to look at so you could see the overall quality and fit. When the tile tiles were delivered I took a few out of the box to lay them down on the kitchen floor to work out the best pattern. If you are looking to have fairly even grout lines then these tiles aren’t for you. They are very uneven on the smaller side of the tile and have quite a big discrepancy. Certainly what I would say is not acceptable. Generally the grout line ranges from a 2mm to 6mm difference, thankfully I’ve only laid them on the floor to work out the best pattern for laying out and haven’t stuck them down! Called Tile Mountain straight away to arrange returning them and a week later I’m still no further forward other than they are getting their “quality” team to investigate. I’ve used Tile Mountain lots of times because of the choice they have but I have to say the slow customer service is not good. It’s simple….the tiles are not good so sort a refund out and get them collected.

Worst tiles ever they weren’t

Worst tiles ever they weren’t for bathrooms they were for outdoor and yous sold them as bathroom tiles , they wouldent cut they kept breaking, I will be putting a review about this and letting every know about these dodge tiles I ended up loosing 250 pounds cause I had to get them back to Stoke on Trent and they were that heavy I had to hire a van with a lift on it , it’s disgusting, only to be told off some dick called Luke , who sits there all day without a clue about tiles that my tiler was doing it wrong when he has a contract with wickes and b@q and 20 years experience!!!!!!’ Yous were no help what’s so ever

Awful Value and quality

1.5 days late, which essentially is 2 days late when you're paying workmen. Then, poor quality on a massive amount of tiles. Had to reorder replacements, tiles still not up to scratch but had no choice but to use them as out of time in terms of opening my business and not having to wait to try and book in workmen again. Awful for close to £700 worth of tiles for a 20sqM Bathroom. Won't ever use again.

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic, they look great. The quality is super durable and goes fantastically with the other matching tiles. All of the tiles in the selection were fantastic however we loved how they looked.

What is the R rating of the matt floor tiles for their slippiness please?

logo

Our advice: This has not got an official R rating however has a Matt finish so therefore has some slip resistance. We would recommend ordering a sample to see the full extent

Hi, is it possible to lay these tiles on a thin plasterboard wall in a bathroom or are they too heavy, thanks

logo

Our advice: British standards advise that Plasterboard without a plaster skim can hold up to 32KG per square metre and plasterboard with a plaster skim can hold upto 20KG per square metre. The Yosemite tiles would be 23KG per square metre. If you are unsure, we would suggest seeking the advice of your tiler.
