Adding MapeGlitter to Mapei Kerapoxy Design forms a shiny, metallised grouting mortar, which is particularly great for grouting metallic tiles, quartz tiles and glass mosaics. Easy to prepare and even easier to apply, you simply add one 100g bag of Mapeglitter per tub of Mapei Kerapoxy Design Grout, mix thoroughly, then apply the grout in the normal fashion. We highly recommend cleaning off the epoxy grout as you work using Kerapoxy Cleaner to prevent residue of grout being left on the face of the tile.

We recommend a ratio of one bag of the Mapeglitter to one tub of Kerapoxy Design. If you required more of a sparkle in your grout lines, you can add more bags of the glitter to increase the sparkle in the grout joints.

Yes, the Kerapoxy grout mixed with the glitter can be used with the Metro wall tiles.
The Mapeglitter Silver 100g (SKU: 4595251) can only be used with Kerapoxy Design Grout and we would not recommend using the glitter with paint.
It is possible to mix the Mapeglitter Silver 100g (SKU: 4595251) with any colour of our Kerapoxy Design grouts, however, we do not stock a black grout in this range. The closest to this would be our Kerapoxy Design Anthracite 114 Grout 3kg (SKU 5K11403) which is Charcoal in colour.
This isn't something that we are able to offer. However, the colour depicted in the picture behind the bag would be a true representation of the colour.
The Mapeglitter would need to be mixed with a compatible grout which is the Kerapoxy Design. As this is a waterproof grout, it is suitable for internal use and external use. We would recommend using the Kerapoxy Cleaner (4571551) to clean whilst installing the tiles, this is to ensure any haze left on the tiles has been removed.
Thank you for your question. We recommend one bag of glitter per one 3kg tub of Kerapoxy adhesive. However, there is no correct amount to use; it would be down to personal preference. Some people like to use two or even three bags of glitter others less than one bag it depends on how glittery you want your grout. Thank you for your question Jackie. Our Mapeglitter can only be used with our Kerapoxy Design grout. If the glitter is used with any other grout, it will sink to the bottom and very little flecks will appear at the top of the grout lines. With our Kerapoxy Design and Mapeglitter, we would always recommend using Kerapoxy Cleaner (SKU: 4571551) so you can clean the grout lines as you go.
