How many Watts would you recommend for a small en-suite - floorspace is 1.2m x 1.6m Thanks
Our advice: For a smaller space, a 160watt matt/cable should be absolutely fine.

I want put this down in a conservatory.do you put the tiles down as normal(adhesive on the cables)and tiles on top. What is the difference to 160w and 200w is it the heat strength.
Our advice: Best practice would be to put the cables onto to substrate, and then apply a thin layer of levelling compound on top of the cables, and then add adhesive and grout as normal. We recommend using the levelling compound as this helps to distribute the heat evenly and also protects the cables. In regards to the wattage differences, the higher the wattage, the faster the mats will heat up.

Hi, is this mat compatible with other thermostats or can you only use it in conjunction with Ezewarm thermostats?
Our advice: The Ezemat is compatable with other thermostats. We do advise that the thermostat and mats are connected to your mains electricity by a qualified electrician.

I am using the mat underneath tiles, I have used over the recommended amount of self levelling compound however the top of the wire is till showing do I need to add even more or will the tile adhesive be sufficient?
Our advice: We would recommend to fully cover the wires when using a levelling compound as any voids can cause hot/cold spots. The levelling compound also helps to protect the wires so any exposed could be at risk if the tiles were ever replaced.
