what should I be cleaning these with for the best results, cleaning products I've used seem to be leaving a sticky residue and in hand making them look dirty minutes later.
Our advice: We would advise using LTP Porcelain Tile Cleaner SKU: LTP101.

What does it mean by needing to be laid directionally?
Our advice: On the back of the tiles, there will be an arrow imprinted. All the arrows need to be installed pointing in the same direction. There is no correct direction you can choose which side of the room they all point they just all must point the same way.
