What is the difference between vitrified ceramic and porcelain?
Our advice: The difference between Vitrified Ceramic and a Porcelain tile is the moisture content, The Vitrified Ceramic tile has a lower moisture content than a standard ceramic tile however has a higher moisture content than a Porcelain tile. A Vitrified Ceramic tile has the durable properties which a porcelain tile offers however is not classified as porcelain due to the moisture content in the tile.
