Does the LVT simply “float” on this underlay, or does it physically stick to the LVT? A little confused since an earlier review mentioned it sticking like clingfilm when the plastic is removed. I initially presumed that both underlay and LVT were installed “dry”, as is the case when laying laminate.
Our advice: Yes, you are correct. LVT is a floating floor the underlay will be placed on the floor and the flooring installed on top of that. There would be no adhesive required.

Hi, does this replace the requirement to use a 6mm ply subbase for the LVT? Do you still need to glue to the LVT to the underlay with this product? Thanks
Our advice: Provided the floor is level and free of movement the vinyl can be installed directly on top of the underlay as this is self-adhesive, The substrate has to be suitable prior to installation
