Canals, Cadbury’s, Duran Duran, the X-Ray, Frank Skinner, cotton wool, Ozzy Osbourne, the pneumatic tyre, Mike Skinner, state education – the fine city of Birmingham has given rise to a lot of great things and people and it’s soon to have another addition in the form of our latest and greatest Tile Mountain Showroom!
Yes, we’ve been beavering away over this past couple of months (fully socially distanced and only when absolutely necessary) to get our new, massive retail space close to Birmingham city centre ready to open as soon as government guidance says it’s safe to do so.
We don’t have a confirmed date for when the doors will finally open to the tile buying public but we thought we’d give you a sneak peek of what’s in store for when we do throw open the doors (hopefully not too far from now).
As you can see from these work-in-progress photos, Tile Mountain Birmingham is a humongous space that will, when fully complete, house over one thousand types and styles of tile, along with a huge selection of grouts, adhesives, and tiling accessories from leading manufacturers including Mapei, Tile Easy and Fila. There’ll also be a wide range of bathroom furniture and sanitary ware from our Bathroom Mountain sister-brand on display, all of which can be ordered in-store for next day delivery.
Tile Mountain Birmingham is the third showroom to be added to our retail estate following the incredible popularity of our flagship showroom in Stoke on Trent and its little brother; Tile Mountain Stockport. Just like both those stores, Tile Mountain Birmingham features a dedicated carpark, free refreshments, Kidz Zone play area, and click & collect, not to mention over one thousand different tile ranges spanning kitchen, bathroom, wall, floor and even outdoor.
We’re currently putting the finishing touches to the showroom and aim to have everything shipshape and ready to go in just a matter of days, so if you’re interested in paying us a visit then keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels or check back to our Showrooms page for opening details. See you in the second city soon!
