Q : Can this board be installed on top of a concrete floor? If so, how is it secured to the floor? The intention is to install underfloor heating over this board.
Yes, these boards can be installed onto a concrete floor. We would recommend installing them using our Keraquick Grey Fast Setting Adhesive 20kg SKU: 012120UK
Q : Hi. I need to make up 10mm to bring a hall floor up to the height of the adjacent kitchen. I was going to lay plywood on top of the floor boards but this board would be better from an insulation point of view. The finished layer will be Amtico type (actually Moduleo) floor. Will this board be suitable from a compressive strength point of view? Thanks. Nick
The 10mm Pro Insulation Boards will take up to 48KG per 1sqm area.
Q : Hi can I ask if these boards are suitable for wall hanging in a bathroom & shower ?? Also what would you recommend to use to seal and waterproof all the joints?
Although suitable for use on a wall, these boards are generally for use with underfloor heating on a floor. For the scenario you have mentioned, we would recommend using Hardie backer boards.
Q : What is the difference between the 6mm board & the 10mm board?
The difference would be the thickness. The 10mm would be thicker and designed for areas which need better insulation.
Q : I need the insulation boards to be put down onto screed, do you sell the glue for this?
We would suggest using our keraquick grey (SKU: 012120UK) to stick the insulation boards onto the screed.
