Manufactured from high-density polystyrene coated with a specially formulated reinforced cement that provides a hard-wearing, robust waterproof surface perfect for the application of wall and floor tiles, plaster and synthetic cement-sand render. Pro Boards are lightweight, have excellent thermal insulation properties making them ideal for use with under-tile heating mats and cables, and also provide high compressive strength. Available in 1200mm x 600mm sheets, Pro Boards are able to support a finished weight of 85kg/m2. Suitable for use on both internal and external walls and floors, Pro Board is waterproof and therefore suitable for use in showers, steam rooms, pools and spas. The boards may be screw-fixed or laid into the cement-based adhesive. Joints between the boards should be taped using a joint tape.
