These tiles do have a matt finish and have an anti-slip rating of R9, so should be fine underfoot for dogs.

The tile has a matt finish so it does offer a good level of grip, but if you want something with an anti-slip finish, we would advise using something with more of a textured finish.

Are these suitable for an outdoor patio? What depth is the tile and can they be laid as a paving slab or do they need a solid concrete base?Our Advice

The Madeira Titanium 248x1000mm (436115) is suitable to be used externally as it is a porcelain tile which is frost proof. The depth of the tile is 10.7mm and they would need a solid concrete base with a 100% coverage of adhesive.
