Can you use these tiles without grouting them, to look like a more natural slate finish?Our Advice

These tiles require grouting, and we would not recommend installing them without it. Grout is essential for ensuring the stability, durability, and overall finish of the tiled surface. If you need help choosing a suitable grout, we’d be happy to assist.

Can I put these titles on an outdoor breeze block wall and what adhesive and grout should I use ,?Our Advice

You can install these onto a breeze block wall, but would need to use a primer on the wall first. The primer we recommend would be the Eco Prim Grip Plus primer (sku 1560005). You can use any suitable outdoor adhesive and grout.

You can form a corner by either a mitre cut or by using a corner tile trim.

Can I use ready mixed adhesive for these tiles or must I use the powder!Our Advice

The ready-mixed adhesives are not suitable for a tile of this size - we would recommend using a powdered adhesive such as the Keraquick Grey adhesive (sku 012120UK).

Do these tiles require a sealant please? Since installing, tiles have a grey glaze over them. What can you suggest to bring the tiles back to their original colour please?Our Advice

These tiles do not require sealing. From the description given, it does appear they may be grout residues on the tiles. To remove this, we would reccomend LTP Cement, Grout & Salt Residue Remover (1 Litre) LTP381.
