When is a grout not a grout? When it’s Mapei Kerapoxy, a polymer-based resin epoxy grout that dries to a tough, plastic-like finish.
Mapei Kerapoxy Translucent 700 is a premium-grade, water-cleanable, 100%-solids, high-strength epoxy mortar and chemical-resistant, non-sagging grout. Ideal for worktops, high-traffic areas, and spaces requiring enhanced stain and chemical resistance, it is suitable for joints between 2–7mm with ceramic tiles and natural stone. For added decorative impact, it can be enhanced with Mapei MapeGlitter to create a sparkling grout effect.

With a Kerapoxy grout, this dries a lot faster than a standard grout due to it being a resin-based grout. We would recommend using Kerapoxy cleaner (SKU: 4571551) which would help remove the excess grout or grout haze when installing.

This grout is suitable to use with mirrored tiles.
Mapei suggests that for Kerapoxy Design Translucent 700 Grout 3kg will cover 1 square meter for most installations. Please note that for larger tiles the coverage may be less.
As this is a resin based grout with a hardener, we would recommend mixing this all at once to ensure that the ratios are correct, however, if you need to mix in smaller measurements , please ensure that the hardener to grout ratio is maintained.
We would recommend the Kerapoxy Cleaner (SKU: 4571551) to clean Kerapoxy grouts, on a clean as you go basis as once dried, the grout is difficult to remove with it being an epoxy grout which is not water soluble.
