I’m looking to make a covered outdoor kitchen with a wooden frame and osb board. Would these tiles be able to go straight onto the osb?Our Advice

We would not advise tiling directly onto OSB board. We would recommend laying a backerboard on top of this first, such as the 6mm HardieBacker Board 1200x800 (sku 445675).

What’s the best adhesive to use for these tiles? Going directly to a scratch coated rendered wall above a pond, Thanks Our Advice

Assuming this is a sand and cement render, we would recommend a primer such as our Eco Prim (SKU: 1560005) and then a powder adhesive such as our Keraquick Fast Setting Adhesive (SKU: 012120UK)

This would not be a suitable substrate to install tiles to.

Hi are these til flat on the surface as want to mount wall hanging wash basin, toilet and cupboard and won’t them to be flush??Our Advice

These tiles have a rustic texture and so the surface of the tile is not flat.

We’ve just had these tiles fitted in our garden and the landscapers have said that they don’t require grout. We’re not happy with the results as the joints are very visible. Please could you confirm if they do require grout and which colour would be the least noticeable. Many thanks. Our Advice

These tiles do require grout. We would advise using either our Ultracolor Manhattan (Light Grey) 110 Flexible Grout 5kg SKU: 6011005A or Ultracolor Medium Grey 112 Flexible Grout 5kg SKU: 6011205A.
