Q : I have placed some of the Riga tiles on my table to get an ides of how they'll look. My question is I have placed four tiles together with the recommended 2mm spacers but, where the flat edges of the tiles meets the gap produced is 4mm. The only way I get a uniform gap is to not use spacers, will this create a problem during installation?
We would recommend a 2-4 grout line in the tiles. Spacers are usually used to aid the installation and provide precision
Q : Hi, below you mention about the 'score line' in the tiles, which you recommend grouting, along with the tiles; I been sent a small sample tile, and showed this to the tiler, who said that the full-size tile must have deeper score lines than this, as grouting that wouldn't work as it isn't deep enough; could you clarify whether or not the score line is this depth on the actual full-sized tile? Otherwise we may need instructions about how he is to go about grouting the score lines. Many thanks.
This line is an artificial grout line in the tile.
Q : What colour grout is suitable? Is it 113 Ultracolour? obviously it must match the 'fake' joint that pre-exists in the tile. How much grout will we need for 620 Riga tiles?
Ultracolor 113 would be suitable. Please be aware that the fake joint, is actually a score line, and we would recommend grouting the score line, along with the tiles. The quantity would depend on the width of the grout lines, however this can be calculated for you via the basket page on our website.
Q : Hi, I waited for these to return to stock on 29/5, but they were out of stock again before I could order them. Just waiting for 6/6 for them to be back in stock, is there any way I can preorder them? Thanks
Yes, you can pre-order these on our website.
Q : What is the measurement of the faux grout line within the tiles?
We would recommend using a 2mm grout line to match up with the ones on the tiles.
