We would advise using a 6mm expansion gap.
Yes, we would recommend using the 1.5mm LVT Underlay (SKU:454205).
In regards to which type of Diamond tipped drill bit would be required, we could not advise as this would be subject to what fixings are used. But so long as the bit is Diamond tipped it will be suitable for use with these Porcelain slabs. These slabs are Porcelain which is incredibly durable and has a wear rating of 4 which is deemed suitable for residential applications as well as medium commercial and light institutional.
No, these tiles would need to be installed onto either a cured concrete base and adhered with an external tile adhesive or set onto a hardcore base and fixed with our Norcros Rock Tite system.
Yes, providing there is a minimum of a 13mm screed between the underfloor heating and the LVT and so long as the heating doesn't exceed 27 degrees.
These tiles could be used indoors if you wanted, but traditionally, you would use a 8-10mm thick tile instead for inside the house.
