A great way to infuse natural aesthetics into any modern interior, Kauri faithfully reproduces the effect of real hardwood. Created using the very latest in inkjet technology, these tiles feature realistic knots and grain and are almost indistinguishable from genuine timber. The matt texture of the tiles also increases slip resistance making Kauri an ideal choice for use in bathroom and kitchen areas. Due to the long length we would recommend to install in a 1/4 bond layout.

We have just bought Kauri rustic tiles for our bathroom wall and floor. Can you please recommend spacer size and wall and floor grout? Many thanks
Our advice: We recommend a 2-3mm spacer and the grout we recommend is the Ultracolor Anthracite (Charcoal) 114 Flexible Grout 5kg.

Can these floor tiles be used on walls? Is the picture a mixture of colours put together or if you pick a colour do you get the colour mixture in the same box?
Our advice: These tiles can be used on the wall, subject to the substrate being strong enough to take the weight, we would recommend discussing this with your tiler. The boxes contain randomly packed tiles within the range to create an authentic wood effect floor, please view the individual tile face images on our website.

What colour grout do you recommend for these tile
Our advice: The most popular grout colour for the Kauri Rustic Natural Wood Effect Floor Tile (SKU 440115) is our Ultracolor Anthracite (Charcoal) 114 Flexible Grout 5kg (SKU 6011405A) this gives an authentic wooden floor effect. If you prefer a lighter grout joint, we would recommend Ultracolor Medium Grey 112 Flexible Grout 5kg (SKU 6011205A).

Hi. If we used this on a bathroom floor, what wall tile (colour/design) would you recommend?
Our advice: Any of our plain coloured tiles would be more than suitable to create a contrast between the wall and the floor. We would recommend our Doblo Matt Light Grey 298x598mm (SKU: 435430).
