Hi. I have Livyn Ambient Click Quick Step Vinyl flooring boards that I want to put directly on top of Nassboards Red Box underfloor heat mat kit, without adhesive or floor levelling compound. Are your boards suitable for my project?
Our advice: No, the insulation boards would not be suitable for this. The underfloor heating would need encapsulating in a leveling compound giving at least 13mm between the heating and the flooring.
Do you offer NHS discount
Our advice: Yes, we do please email us a photo of either your Blue Light card or NHS ID.

what is needed to cut these boards?
Our advice: To cut these boards we would recommend using a score and snap knife (SKU 445700).
what screws/fixings would you use with this to fix to a plywood floor
Our advice: These can be secured to the floor using normal screws, and you can also use a small amount of adhesive if you wish.
Hi, Can you just screw these down to the floor boards or do you have to use adhesive aswell?
Our advice: You would apply these tiles using the Keraquick White Fast Setting Adhesive 20kg, or if you’re doing a DIY project, we would recommend the slow setting version of this.
