Q1) What would you recommend that should these tiles be cut with? Q2) The spec states that not all tiles are the same, if this relates to size then which dimensions are not the same and what variation would be expected? Our Advice

You would need to use a wet wheel diamond cutter, to cut the Quartz Stone Midnight Black. The size of the tiles will all be the same, the quartz effect may make the appearance slightly different.

You mention below in response to another question that these tiles aren't suitable for a wet room. Are they suitable for a normal bathroom floor where they might get wet (but not directly inside the shower), or would they get damaged? Our Advice

The Quartz tiles have a polished finish which could be slippy when wet or if there are any puddles of water/spilt products like shampoo on the tiles could cause an issue with slipping.

I'm looking at laying down quartz tiles in my kitchen, but because I have electric underfloor heating,I've been told that this may not be possible as it may warp the tiles. Is this correct? Our Advice

Our Quartz tiles are suitable for underfloor heating as long as they are installed with Keraquick Adhesive mixed with Latex and a suitable anti-fracture membrane is in place.

can these tiles be laid in a kitchen where i have south facing sun coming through patio doors. I have been told that the edges might start curlOur Advice

The Quartz Stone Midnight Black Tiles are suitable to use in a south facing area as long as the correct installation procedures have been followed.

Hi would you be able to use these in a wet room? Our Advice

Due to the makeup of the Quart tiles, we would not recommend using these tiles in a wet room.

Hi do these tiles need to be sealed in any way once laid? Our Advice

Our Quartz Stone tiles are pre-sealed so they don't necessarily require additional treatment. However, as with all pre-sealed treatments, this is designed to protect the tiles during transport and installation, and as such, we would highly recommend to seal them again after installation to protect them going forward.

On the 300x300 Quartz stone midnight black - you have confirmed that they are suitable for underfloor heating up to 200 watts is this the same on the 600 x 600 Quartz stone midnight black? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank youOur Advice

Thank you for your question. All of our floor tiles are suitable to use with underfloor heating. We have tried and tested these Quartz tiles with our Ezewarm underfloor heating kits, and as long as the manufacturers installation methods are followed they are compatible. If you need any further advice, please call 01782 223822 or email and we will be happy to assist.
