These tiles do require grouting, they are ceramic tiles with non-rectified edges, we would suggest a grout joint of 3mm minimum

The chess black floor tiles would be suitable for a shower room floor; there is a slight texture to the surface making it have a better grip level, however, we would recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order.
