Hi, I didn’t know there was a sealant product for porcelain tiles, I had mine put on 2 years ago. Can I still use this even tho they are grouted with black grout?Our Advice

What can I use to clean pre applied tile protective coating (greasy film on tiles when boxed) before applying this sealer. Porcelain tiles. The floor tiles I laid took ages to clean with cloth and paper towels. Thanks Our Advice

We would advise performing an initial clean prior to sealing with our Deterdek Pro 1 Ltr - End of Work Cleaning SKU: 430650

Is this suitable for use on your Carrara White Gloss Marble Effect Porcelain tiles, and does it go over the fully grouted floor? In terms of coverage, will this cover a 23m2 area?Our Advice

The tiles you have purchased do not require sealing. The product here is designed for sealing Polished tiles which would be porous if left unsealed which isn't the case with a Gloss finish tile.

We would not recommend using this on matt tiles as this is only for use with polished marble, porcelain, granite, and encaustic tiles. If you wanted to add a protector to your matt porcelain tiles we would recommend using the LTP Porcelain Tile Protector (sku: LTP391).
