Adhering ceramic and quarry tiles to all manner of substrates including gypsum plaster, cement, concrete, and screeds has never been easier thanks to Mapei Ceramic & Quarry Wall & Floor Adhesive. A grey cement-based powder adhesive, Mapei Ceramic & Quarry Wall & Floor Adhesive is suitable for the installation of a wide range of ceramic tiles and mosaics as well as for quarry tiles. Suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and on balconies. Tiles can be grouted after approx. 24 hours Poor drying conditions may extend this time. We would recommend this adhesive to be used with tiles up to 450mm x 450mm. This adhesive is not suitable for use with porcelain, natural stone or quartz tiles.

Can i tile over existing tiles
Our advice: We would not advise tiling over an existing project.

WOULD THIS BE OK TO USE FOR A TERRACOTTA TILE ONTO T&G CHIPBOARD
Our advice: You would need to use a Latex based adhesive to tile onto T&G chipboard, we recommend Keraquick White Fast Setting Adhesive 20kg (SKU 012520) along with Latex Plus 6kg (SKU 215106UK) on a 1:1 ratio.

Can this adhesive be used for grouting, or can you tell me what type I need for quarry tiles
Our advice: The Mapei Ceramic and Quarry Wall and Floor Adhesive 20kg (SKU 436525) is not suitable for grouting. We would recommend using Ultracolor Cement Grey 113 Flexible Grout 5kg (SKU 6011305A) for Quarry tiles.

Our advice: The Mapei ceramic and quarry adhesive is only suitable for Ceramic tiles and Quarry tiles; we would recommend using either Mapeker (SKU: 012320) or Keraquick (SKU: 012120UK).

Typically how long does this take to dry and then be able to walk on the tiles
Our advice: The Mapei ceramic and quarry adhesive takes approx 24 hours to dry and you would be able to walk over the tiles after this time.
