What is the length and height of each tile.
Our advice: The individual tiles are randomly cut and pieced together to achieve a realistic split face effect.

How thick are these tiles?
Our advice: This tile is 13mm thick.

Can these be used externally please?
Our advice: Because of the design of the tiles and how the pieces are held together, we would not recommend it for exterior use, this is because wet weather conditions could allow water to seep through the gaps in the mosaics and affect the adhesive, causing it to become less secure.

Hi, what adhesive his required to install these tiles pls, just a small area behind a small countertop wash basin
Our advice: We would suggest using Keraquick Grey Fast Setting Adhesive 20kg

I want to use these tiles on a wall behind a wood burning, free standing stove (chimney is within the room and exits thru ceiling). As there is a slight gap between the splits what problems, if any, might we encounter? What tile adhesive should be used to ensure heat resistant bonding?
Our advice: We do not sell any heat resistant adhesive and we would not recommend using these tiles in this situation as the heat will get into the gaps of the tiles and deteriorate the adhesive. A suitable alternative would be our Yosemite Grey Split Face Wall tile.

Can these be used on an outside wall?
Our advice: Although it is slate, because of the design of the tiles and how the pieces are held together, we would not recommend for exterior use, this is because wet weather conditions could allow water to seep through the gaps in the mosaics and effect the adhesive, causing it to become less secure.

If these tiles are used internally on a chimney breast - do they still need sealing ?
Our advice: Yes, they would still require sealing.
