Used these on our Edwardian fireplace and they look absolutely gorgeous, love the subtle variations on each tile and the texture which just give them that interest rather than looking flat and monotous. I ordered samples of many, many similar tiles, some being FAR more expensive, and am so happy we went with these. RECOMMEND! (Note I am not sure if they're actually fire safe, our fireplace is not in use so didn't matter for us).

Yes, these tiles would be suitable. However, if the temperature exceeds 90°, you will require a heat-resistant adhesive and grout
