Product Details

Inverno is a stylish and low-maintenance glazed porcelain tile with a matt finish and crisp rectified edges for that elegant, clean aesthetic.

Key Features

  • Authentic natural look

  • Easy clean due to glaze coating

  • Exquisite styling and tonal texture

  • Durable surface

  • Primed for use with underfloor heating

Inverno faithfully replicates the look of a matt marble, with each tile varying from piece to piece to create an authentic appearance barely distinguishable from the natural product itself. Perfect for those looking to create a light, expansive environment, the gorgeous natural stone effect gives any space a grounded sense of luxury and in its palest variant, a light bright finish as well. While real marble often comes at prohibitive cost, Inverno Grey Marble Rectified mimics real marble to such an extent that you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s the real thing. You will notice the difference, however, when it comes to maintenance as Inverno is easy to clean and resistant to staining or etching.

Quality tiles that make all the difference
These tiles and the matching mosaics are gorgeous - they look beautiful and have a lovely finish. We replaced the bath with a walk-in shower and we're so happy with our new shower room. It has a real luxury feel. The tiles are worth every penny, even the bathroom fitter commented on how nice they are. Great service too from Tile Mountain, after I messed up the order and had to place a second one!

Toilet Transformation
Wanted grey - decided for a lighter Grey tile to open the space up in our toilet. Sample did not do the tile justice. But once on the walls and floors, made such a difference - fresh look, bright airy and completely outshined the rest of the house. Great buy and would highly recommend. Great service also.

During lock down my son
During lock down my son and I decided to refurbish his bathroom by ripping out the existing bath, wall and floor tiles and replacing them with a new 1.7 metre shower tray and these Inverno grey marble effect tiles. I purchased these tiles from Tile mountain and received them securely palleted within a couple of days. I have never purchased from this company before but have just placed a further order to refurbish my utility room. The service was first rate and the quality of the tiles exceptionally good. I have included a few pictures of before and after the renovation.

Q : What's the slip rating on this tile? Is it compatible with wet rooms and underfloor heating?

Answers (1)
Advice

The manufacturer has not tested this tile for a rating but we would say it is an equivalent to an r9. It is ideal for underfloor heating and can be used in a wetroom as the glazed finish will not allow any water absorption

Yes, as long as the order is placed all together, the stock will be taken from one batch number.

Q : Tile described as "Inverno Grey Marble Effect **Rectified** Wall And Floor Tile" and the 'Product Details' section bottom left says "crisp rectified edges", but the 'Information Breakdown' section bottom right says "Rectified - No". Please can you confirm that these Inverno tiles (437675) are rectified. Or not(!)

The Inverno tiles have rectified edges.

Q : Do you have a grout which matches the colour of the tile so it looks like one big marble wall? So that the grout lines are not obvious? Thanks

Answers (1)
Advice

Due to the multitude of variants within the Inverno range, there is not one grout colour that will offer a perfect match, we would suggest our Ultracolor Manhattan (Light Grey) 110 Flexible Grout 5kg (SKU 6011005A).

Q : How to drill holes in these tiles

Answers (1)
Advice

Firstly, make sure the tile is stable and secure, we recommend starting off with a mason drill to create a small pilot hole then switching to a diamond tip drill bit, gradually building up speed, whilst splashing the drill bit with water to keep it cool.
