Q : Hi do these tiles need a concrete base or can they be laid on a conpacted stone base with mortar under the tile?
The tiles can be installed onto a screed so long as they are primed with Eco Prim Grip, however, the substrate must be solid and free from movements, the tiles cannot be installed onto a hardcore or loose substrate.
