Arrived quickly. Awaiting tiler to put up so can't comment on finished effect, they do however look good at the moment scattered around the floor, lots of variation in each box.

vintage floor tiles
The delivery was prompt and guy delivering the pallet full of tiles was really helpful, despite the pouring rain,he managed to deliver the pallet to the front door over some difficult cobbles. Some of the tiles were broken in transit but Tile mountain replaced them without a quibble and very quickly. the tiles themselves are fantastic. They look like unfinished wood flooring which is what we wanted. we have finished one room out of two and it looks beautiful. i did consider under floor heating as i had been told by many that the tiles would be cold but in fact they are fine without this. All in all really please with these tiles and the service from Tile mountain

At the very pinnacle of current interior design trends, the Vintage range of floor tiles utilises the latest print production technology to create tiles bursting with character and functionality.

Key Features

  • Faithful replication of worn wood floor boards

  • Variance between each tile makes for authentic weathered look

  • No sealing required

  • Matt finish for improved grip underfoot

  • Easy clean/low maintenance

Reclaimed wood effect tiles are such a popular choice for both wall and floor spaces as they engender the charming aesthetic of genuine weathered timer only without the required maintenance that natural wood demands.Constructed from durable porcelain and printed using the latest technology, these tiles replicate time-worn timber planks so effectively that you’d be hard-pressed to tell the difference between this and the real thing.

Q : What type of adhesive is needed for fixing tiles to a concrete floor please? Also would you advise these tiles of use in a bathroom?

Answers (1)
Advice

Yes, our Vintage Floor Tiles would be suitable for installation in a bathroom. As they are porcelain, they are very durable, and they have a matt finish which would give an average level of grip. We would recommend using our Keraquick Grey Fast Setting Adhesive 20kg - SKU: 012120UK for installation on a concrete floor.

Q : Hi can you advise what adhesive is recommended for laying the vintage tile with an underfloor heating mat. I will be putting it on a: Floor concrete / insulation boards / heating mat / ? Thank you

Answers (1)
Advice

We would recommend using a flexible adhesive due to the underfloor heating such as our Keraquick Grey (SKU: 012120UK).

Q : do you need to grout between them and what spacer gap should be left?

Answers (1)
Advice

Hi, yes we would advise to grout between the gaps using 2-3mm spacers as moisture would get between the gaps and could cause issues with the substrate.
