New Porcelain Paving

Absolutely delighted with the service provided by Tile mountain. I was unable to obtain a match for our original paving as it had been discontinued. Tile mountain provided me with free, small, samples and when I found a good match, ordered a single tile. This proved to be close enough so i ordered another 50. The delivery timescale on all the items was superb and almost next day, or day of choosing every time, and the delivery was perfect. I highly recommend Tile Mountain for your next project and would not hesitate to use them again.

Porcelain Perfection!!!

The tiles were selected from Tile Mountain because of their tolerance size, strength and uniformity of colour. We had decided to use raised pedestals to support the tiles and the finished terrace looks first-class!

Nice tiles but some arrived chipped

We love our tiles, however some arrived chipped which we assume was from poor handling from the courier. However you only get 24 hours to unpack the tiles and notify them, which we didn’t do until 48-72 hours after when we came to lay. Our mistake but we advise anyone getting the files to check Asap.

Is this slab OK to lay on a traditional sand and cement bed with full mortar bed under each slab?

logo

Our advice: We would advise against this method. The two methods we would advise would be installing onto a cured concrete base and adhering with an exterior tile adhesive or laying onto a hardcore base and adhering using our Norcros Rock Tite Three part system. Please contact us on 01782 223822 if you wish to discuss this further.

What colour grout would you recommend for the Bellevue graphite slabs

logo

Our advice: We would advise using either our Ultracolor Anthracite (Charcoal) 114 Flexible Grout 5kg SKU: 6011405A or our Norcros Rock-Tite Brush in Grout 15kg - Tropical Ebony SKU: 451495.

can they be laid on existing slabs using sand and cement mix

logo

Our advice: No, we would completely advise against this. The two methods we would suggest would be installing the slabs onto a cured concrete base and adhering with an exterior tile adhesive or laying the slabs onto a hardcore base and adhering using our Norcros Rock Tite System.

Would these tiles be ok lay on a pedestal system?

logo

Our advice: Yes, these tiles would be suitable to install with our pedestal system.

Can you lay them on a patio with sand and cement

logo

Our advice: We would only advise either installing these onto a cured concrete base and adhering with an outdoor tile adhesive such as our Adesilex P4 Grey Floor Adhesive 20kg SKU: 218220 or using our Norcros Rock Tite Three-part system to install onto a heavily compacted type one aggregate.

Are these a non slip

logo

Our advice: These tiles have an anti-slip rating of R11 which would be deemed best used in areas which may be subject to heavy wetting of the surface: Wetrooms, exposed balconies, patios.

What's the best way to clean the slabs. Any special products or will warm water floor cleaning liquid be ok?

logo

Our advice: For everyday cleaning and aftercare, we recommend using the LTP Porcelain Tile Cleaner (SKU: LTP101).
